I don’t know that this counts because sending it to streaming was less a COVID consideration than it was Chapek desperately trying to prop up Disney+, but I still believe TURNING RED should have been a monster hit that would have shifted Pixar’s whole trajectory these last few years.

I think it's notable that the two most straight-down-the-middle, STAR WARS fan service projects ("young Han Solo" and "Boba Fett's Back!") were both pretty significant flops, setting aside their relative merits.

The Academy Museum just dropped their spring film screenings schedule. They're doing a run of most of Kurosawa's films on 35mm, as well as Miyazaki films (DCPs).
