Seems like you prevented any potential~

Sorry, I need to contain my puns.
I deeply regret that I never met Spottacus. To see someone in his position unapologetically live his best life greatly inspired me to aspire to the same in spite of the challenges.
My condolences to all who were close to him in life. Please take care of yourselves.

π¨π¦ Happy Canada Day!
Deepest respects to the Americans that risk their wellbeing to oppose this excuse of a king
This mentality of βwhat about Americaβ allowed us Canadians to sleepwalk into a whole bunch of problems that are coming to screw us now. Many of us are snapping out of it now. Disappointing that some havent

Show me one gif from Star Trek that perfectly embodies your aura.
UI concept of BlueSky running on Opera 12 on Windows XP. The page has a blue sky background with clouds, a navigation bar on top with the BlueSky logo, a search bar, various links (home, lists, feeds, settings), and the current user on it. Below it, on the left side are tabs for different feeds, with the current feed's posts underneath, and the right side features a textbox for creating new posts and a list of recent messages & notifications, displaying no new messages and no new notifications.
i decided to make a bluesky concept just as an excuse to post something here
My prof hammered on about this when I took Intro to Software Engineering. Most of the CS majors in the class thought he was crazy.
I mean, he was, having infowars-adjacent tabs open (among other things) when screensharing his web browser. BUT he was definitely right on that point.
Star Trek The Next Generation scene. We're in engineering with control panels and engineering stuff on the walls and whatnot. We see Picard and Worf, but Picard is a borgs! His whole body is worn in black and he looks to have been transformed into half robot half human, with tubes and wires and mechanics attached to his body and head, including half his face being covered in tech and wires, phantom of the opera style. Picard's whole arm is also now a long metally tool with sharp smaller tools sticking out of the end, and he's holding it to Worf threateningly. Worf, in gold uniform, stands like he's being held at gunpoint. Closed caption reads, "We only wish to raise quality of life."
βWe want smallest government possibleβ
We know where this leads.
South Korea is heavily polarized politically by gender, and has a massive misogyny problem. They also have some of the lowest birth rates in the world.
The people who claim βfamily valuesβ seem to be undermining them the most.
As someone who grew up in this era of recommendation algorithms, you gave words to feelings that I have had for years.
As someone who studies computer science, it makes me sad that the concept of an "algorithm" has become synonymous with its worst applications. I hope someday that'll change.
A Windows Blue Screen of Death / bugcheck saying "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION", with a STOP code of 0x3B and the faulting driver being "Emma.sys"
valid crashout?
I do not believe in any tech product where the devs want us to view it with some form of religious awe, a divine gift redefining human experience and bequeathing knowledge unto us humble land apes. I believe in a tech product where the devs are like βthis is handy for planning breakfastsβ
I feel personally attacked
I must GRASP the child!
Star Trek Discovery scene. We're in the medical unit and close in on Spock. He's younger here and has a thick beard so you know he's probably going through some stuff. Closed caption reads, "You woke."

My honest reaction to this information
TNG scene. We're in what looks like a smokey room with a starfleet fella in the far background looking on. Picard is sitting down with someone immejiately behind (but you can only see the legs) and Picard is wearing one of the older starfleet uniforms from the TOS films. The "bib" thingy is flapped open and there's a sharp knife protruding out of his chest like someone stabbed him from behind. He's laughing and smiling for some reason. Closed caption reads, "(laughing)"
It would seem that weβve found out what era Elon thought was great in Europe.
