Ah, from the fibromyalgia? I'm so sorry! Definitely makes many things harder to do.

Oh man, my spouse is obsessed with this movie! πππ₯
Even bought him all the novels....
Such a good movie.
I'll try to stop by in the morning, but it's a bit of a busy day. I'll be baking pie for the first time, in prep for Pi Day! π₯§ (I suppose I could do that during sprints π€)
But yes, go relearn Easy Winners! Then post the video!! πΉπ
Honestly, The Entertainer felt a bit overdone. I think it's the most famous one. So I wanted to learn maybe the second most famous π
Oh, and I rarely go for the easiest choice in life - I love a good challenge. They're often the most rewarding. πππ₯
Oh yeah, for sure. It all adds up over time though! ππ₯
Yes, sourdough is super popular right now. I'm not sure why, but it is... I'm actually going to write a science activity about it π
Yes, I did sourdough pretzels a bit ago! They're great!π
I do like super soft cookies! We also use our own chicken eggs, so I'm less worried about being undercooked.
Feel free to share the recipe πͺππ
As long as there are no trans fats π€£
And, um, no sourdough. My family doesn't let me make sourdough discard cookies anymore ππ
π
(I'm only allowed to stick with savory sourdough bakes apparently..)
π€£ More like lack of commitment π
Well @carlyhiebner.bsky.social did promise cookies, so maybe I should just give in...
Oh no! They have trans fats! I knew he couldn't be trusted!
You're just all talk. You gave such a tepid response to this question yesterday. I know you're just a big softie at heart. Your words can't hurt me π€£
bsky.app/profile/jimt...
Yes... Especially since he basically rescued everyone. Very much time to recover at home.
Wow, pizza stuffed bagels sounds amazing. Do you have a go-to recipe you can share?
Sorry about the illness! π¬ I've been worried about new measles cases here in Colorado...
Enjoy the game!
Yeah, I got pretty close. Maybe about 15 ft (5 m) from the biggest. He was totally like, "You're just taking picts? That's cool. I'm just going to keep chew'n ma cud."
Would have gotten closer had I not been trying to serve as a good role model for my young curious kiddos though π
Wow, I love mangos. Hadn't even thought of such a pie. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you, Jeff!
Trying anything new this weekend? π
π€£ Sometimes people here love the failures the most! It can be so human and relatable.
Looking forward to the picts!! ππ₯
That gives me hope! Hard to find time to practice, so progress is slow, but getting there eventually π
I actually learned The Entertainer as a kid (like 9/10), but never mastered it. I'll probably revisit at some point. Yes, love Easy Winners & those others too! Also Cascades, Gladiolus Rag...
Getting more snow here now, so that's fantastic. βοΈπ
Not sure how clear it is, but all the people standing around in that one picture are super close to two chilling, giant mule deer.
(We saw a moose too, but luckily it wasn't near people! Best not to mess with mooses... Or meeses...)
Thanks so much π
Feels great to be back in it!
Oh, yes indeed, well-spotted!
Damien does have incredibly high standards for himself, and this is revisited/managed later. And possibly, as people like this do, he may have similarly incredibly high expectations of others (which possibly leads to disappointment, and possibly being alone...).
You know, I'm going to ask for picts the next time you bake something you want to share w/ folks hereπ Sounds like you've gained a lot of experience & could help others not completely destroy their attempted bakes! π
Mmmm... I love scones too. Haven't made those either! ππ Adding to my list...
Oh, that's nice you have that ready then! Hope he provides good comments on Sunday π
Well, sounds like a new theme idea at least! That's always fun. They can become such memorable earworms.
π€£ Sounds like when I made croissants for the first time last weekend. Fun to try and see how it's done, but, um, we'll see if I'm ever that motivated again! π

Mule deer chilling out by building
Ok, just because it's highly amusing. This was up at Estes Park, with lots of folks around (YMCA). The mule deer didn't care one bit that bus loads of people came by...
And weird squirrel, because why not.
Now you know what the Rocky Mountains are like π
There was glacier snow, but further up.

And here's some pictures from the Rocky Mountain National Park last spring.
Apple tree branch with snow
So, we're getting snow now! (Nevermind that it's immediately melting into water upon contact with the ground, shhhh.) Just a dusting so far, but here's hoping.
Photographic evidence π
One of the many apple trees I've planted in our yard. Needs pruning.
Oooo, so maybe a new project then?π πΉπ₯
Or wait, do you even want to be taking a call on a Sunday? π
Thanks, Carly!
What else is fiction for if not a little, earned, happy wish fulfillment? ππ₯
Yup! You got it!
Though... The guest is not exactly, technically a snake π
Thank you, Marco! You too! βΊοΈπ
