Even if I'm overextending or making it more dramatic than it should, how is it, that Apple preventing (through software) an user from sending a file locally through Bluetooth to another brand device, serves anyone in the short/medium/long term?
My personal opinion is that, if we allow a brand to wrap open communication protocols with custom software with the intent to prevent their device from communicating with another brand, we're allowing software-defined monopolies and we're one step away from T deciding they only service Sidekicks.
