Yesterday a store clerk said to me, “happy Mother’s Day, if you’re a mom.” I thought that was an interesting way to cover all of the bases.

a designer on TT who used to work for the NASA sewing department mentioned that if we wanted a garment production industry in the US, the solution would be subsidized trade schools and childcare, and affordable housing and groceries, not ~gestures~

Thanks. I have done that - it’s separating the different groups I didn’t know how to do! I just need to sit sound and spend some time learning the app. Just like I tell my students - it’s not going to get better if you don’t practice hahaha

My struggle is that I want to read breaking news and see quilt photos in different realms. In the old days I was a twitter lurker to keep up on news and used IG for the visuals. Now I don’t know how to manage it.

Brilliant! I was literally just thinking of making pattern weight type bean bags to hold a book open. This might be a better solution.
