Rubikang has returned the Sacred Crown of Abydos to Anubis, but it looks like he's got another bigger task in store for him now!
I watched @rubikang.hyper.wang playing Sphinx and finally reveal Anubis after a lot of mummy-based platforming.
I decided to take Polar Patroller out in his natural element. It was 0° out, perfect for him.
It was a ton of fun! I really enjoyed playing through it!
His big reveal, worth it after hours and hours of platforming and talking to him as a floating ball of light... He's beautiful...
The HD re-release was so good, but it did Anubis so dirty on the lighting. He lost all of his cool post-processing and light layers. Here's the original vs re-release scene where he 'transitions' from ghostly to in-person:
