Google Makes New Quantum Computing Breakthrough Google unveiled an experimental machine capable of tasks that a traditional supercomputer could not master in 10 septillion years. (That’s older than the universe.)

Whenever recommendation forms ask me to rate an applicant on "self-awareness" I always say "did not observe" on account of being unable to observe other's mental states. Sorry, MIT, even though you've given me a Likert scale, I simply can't tell you if this applicant has higher-order consciousness!
