This has already happened once following the Aokushun Stjarlind Disaster that resulted in Myld losing his life to RAVEN member LAMBDA, Skye falling into depression following the death of her partner before being kidnapped by a corporate conspiracy and Gulf fleeing unable to come to terms with it.
The entire LHU team can be. Since each member uses a photonic weapon reliant on exciting surrounding atoms in order to bypass RAVEN's nigh-invincible armor to hurt Fragment Wielders directly.
- Myld with the Photonic Bow
- Skye with the Photonic Blaster & Rapier
- Gulf with the Photonic Blunderbuss
That's just what we call a normal weekend over here :P
If I'm reading this semi-correctly:
- Metal Max 2
- Dokapon Kingdom IV (1st of it's series)
- Steel Knights 3: Clash on the European Front
I've lowkey always wanted to see the Nintendo Power menu restored to working order. It's such a chill interface.
ZELDA MARATHON 2: TWILIGHT ANNIVERSARY ANNOUNCEMENT!
Today is the 10 Year Anniversary of Twilight Princess HD, my #1 favourite Zelda game, and I'm celebrating by announcing a NEW MARATHON EVENT!
The event starts this weekend on Saturday, 3 PM EST!
More info in replies!

Sorry again for asking again but I need help. Just need some money to help with food and some light bills.
Was denied this and next week's unemployment so need help.

The GBA Wireless Adapter and Link Cable are really strict with latency and timings. Adding ANYTHING extra in terms of overhead severely risks it breaking completely. The Wireless Adapter itself is semi compatible with the DS' Wi-Fi data packets from a coding perspective (Since DS' was built on it)
So... I need some help. My unemployment won't be arriving until next week and rent is due at the end of the week. Tried to talk with the landlord about it but they can't budge this week since they are gonna be out of town for the rest of the month.

More than likely. In the old days you targets CRT's and *hoped* whatever one used was close enough to the calibration target to blend the pixels, masking the dithering (Something older machines relied on) HD TV's? Not so much, YMMV on that one.
Both of them are targeting the SCPH-550x revision of the PS1, which is for the most part the "gold" standard for PS1 models. Early ones use a different pipeline for textures which resulted in poor blending, 550x onwards simplified the pipeline and fixed the blending. Later games break on older units
The reason there's no dithering present is because they're forcing 8-16bit textures into 24bit color aka true color, which removes the dithering completely. This isn't hardware accurate but it's a common hack because some people have weird hate boners for dithering.
As this is isn't using PGXP in any way, you get the telltale snapping and warping of 3D models along with mismatching overlays and depths.
Console Archives on the other hand looks to be using a true integer scale software renderer (Low level essentially, Sony took the high level route for some reason) with true 50-60Hz support and likely a CPU interpreter or recompiler (the GTE-GPU and CD-ROM Controller are the hardest parts)
Each PS1 release on PS4/PS5 has it's own emulator revision and BIOS depending on the region, built on the date of compiling, coupled with per game patches and lua scripts for specific games. It's not perfect as very often, this causes more issues or outright crashes like 6th frame input drops.
This would result in dithering and bayer matrix artifacts. At least they remembered to handle the bad sectors this time for LibCrypt titles in PAL, something they forgot to do previously for the PSP/Vita and PS3. Which is why a lot of late PAL PS1 releases were missing on those systems.
The dithering is correct though. The PS1 can only use 16/8bit color depth textures realistically despite support 24bit color (MDEC uses 8bpp for it's 240p FMV's, Some games like FF7 use 2 triangles and stream a MDEC FMV on as the background because it doesn't have to render a full 3D environment)
It sees everything as 2D first, converts them to 3D display lists using the GTE (A prototype to what would become the Vector Units and later the SPU's in the PS2 and PS3) and then outputted as 3D on the GPU. This explains the "solid" look of the emulator, though it seems it's depth handling is poor.
The 3D is being non-integer scaled with what looks to be a bastardized clone of PGXP, this is something DuckStation offers that can fix the warping, snapping and depth of 3D polygons on PS1 as it's CPU-GTE-GPU pipeline has no concept of perspective or depth. (It's affine only)
It looks like Sony ditched POPS and the ps1_emu previously used in the PSP/Vita and PS3 respectively. I can see some leftover components from POPS but they aren't used, the internal emulator here for PS4/5 is dubbed ps1hd. There's lua flags in here showing yes, they do faulty 50 to 60Hz conversions.
OK. It just helps to know for any possible expansion or upgrading. I'd check the trapdoor underneath the machine for any 512k SlowRAM upgrades too. Those ususally had NiCd batteries that would've failed and corroded/leaked open by now and possibly damaged things if there's one there.
Welcome to the Amiga club. Do you know what revision the motherboard is?
If you want some quick practice go ahead. This ref sheet should have everything you'll need. (Providing Bluesky doesn't bungle the upload)
And nothing of value was lost.
Miko has still barely eaten anything. We're at the emergency vet with him now so he can get an ultrasound. I'm at my wits end, and I haven't slept well in three days.
If you wanna help us pay for the emergency services, please consider donating to my ko-fi ko-fi.com/chromakoros
I'm facing homelessness & being kicked from the Isle of Man back to the UK since my neighbor was my landlord and with her passing, my home falls back to the government who want me gone by Jan 15th.
I've attached a image with more info. Anything helps this is serious. ko-fi.com/experimentt
Nintendo's SD Card drivers aren't the best. There's a reason their ExFAT driver always requires a separate download. (Has a habit of causing issues with corruption or data loss) It also loves to fragment it as well. As in 60%+ fragmentation which isn't healthy long term either.
Don't have a wheelchair, so hopping with crutches.
Over the weekend. That metal frame was finally removed. Normally it should be in a cast but not this time. I can't use this leg now for about a month or 2, but that won't stop the government from throwing us out.
Bleeds bad, but I'm managaing. Can't thank everyone enough for their help so far!
