friday came around fast again, good sleep thou, focused on re-taking a test and getting script ready for a ugc job that came in, i’m hoping i can get that done quickly, also in the process of using GSD properly, so far it’s softly softly on that, but it’s good, next claude skills.

is a track from a game that i’ve been watching my wife play called dave the diver, it’s fantastic. i love the cross over of musicians and gaming like that, it’s a great crossover and promotion method. i would never have been exposed to mxmtoon and she’s great.

and there is me talking about the cost of tech and apple drop the macbook neo for like $600 and while it’s not got much of a spec or memory, this for the sofa times talking to my ai over the local network is a good upgrade for me in the short term without being concerned about a new laptop. yes!

being in “technology” these days is expensive. feels like a race to the bottom, even a raspberry pi once was cheap and now if you want a rpi5 or a cm5 they are over $100 – access to silicon/chips is getting all too arc raiders real life, unless more players enter the mix, everything is subscription

my m1 macbook air has served me very well, a solid device, six years and still going, very impressed with the “m” series kit from apple, they really got that shit right. it’s going to be a massive upgrade, target for this year updated, it would be like a super portable homelab in a box in many ways

m5 macbook pro max 18 core, 40 core gpu, 128gb, 24hr battery, run llama 70b locally — $5600 - 140w usb-c — three tb5 ports, hdmi port, support for four displays - thoughts? – that’s a powerhouse of laptop power right there, it’s probably worth ramen life and unlimited drip coffee living for a year

my body is expecting this setup to be there everyday and my mind is questioning why we don’t have it yet, things take time sure but now we have tools that make time go faster, everytime i line something up, i have an update/paywall or some other hoop to jump through. onwards and upwards!

i wonder how much the slate is gonna end up costing, they say around $25k but i just don’t see it, maybe it’s best to just pick up the BLANK_slate and take it from there, it would certainly be a useful run around local kinda truck and be handle for bulk runs right?

my new rule of thumb with github repos is wait for more releases to come out and a good group of people actively adding to the project. it’s a brand new attack surface/vector for people to vibe code and spin up bs packages and put them on github. be smart, double check and check again, also scan!

Mood

we have all these freaking ai wrappers and i’m sick of seeing payment crap like this, are we not further along in 2026, like, it would be so relatively easy to spin something up, wholesale buy credits and sell you them for a little bit more, but are we not over web3 snake oil behavior yet?

climate change is real folks. i’m guessing these guys got the memo, it’s gonna be hard i think for people to sell those in the years to come, seems to be a whole bunch of people getting out in Surfside Beach TX, don’t think i could rely on the that one bridge out to mainland either!

i’m glad in some ways that i have to “wait” for a reset because it actually helps me get into other areas that i’m not getting all-consumed by ai in otherwise i’m just like this, locking in through the code to the pixel level – i’m learning a lot at a rapid pace thou, from phone to backend, sick!

currently in crazy learning, setup mode! - getting n8n running, weavy.ai, comfyai, openclaw, claude code in the mix – it’s difficult to keep perspective of what is just token munching versus actual tooling that is a benefit, also aggregating nightly trends and building a content creator green room

it’s coming to something when you have to re-order your day around when your llm is going to have it’s “reset” on your plan but hey, that’s where we are and we ramp up as we can afford, bit like life really, you do what you can with what you have. time for tiktok time and a bit of a tidy up! :)

good morning gentlemen, start your engines! asked the ai for five things for me to work on today, wants me to install a bunch of things so it can help me be productive, i’m also going to potentially get it to sort a bunch of video files today, not sure how it’s gonna do with that! brave warriors!

so we are kinda making software in our own image in the way that each of us who can type can ask a question and build ill formed things, that does’nt sounds like it ends well, it’s kinda a road to the bottom if we are all doing it, after the automation, we gotta think much bigger.
