In a Violent Nature (2024) Movie review by @onehorrorplease Pictured is a man in a cloth mask holding a hook with a chain attached to it. He is facing away towards hills covered with a lush green forest.
Plot: The vengeful spirit of a killer awakens from his slumber to retrieve a stolen locket. Review: An intriguing concept and vicious carnage on a low budget, but the filmβs repetitive stomp-stomp-kill formula fails to strike a balance between innovation and execution. Rating: 2.5/5 by @onehorrorplease

I saw some comment on their movies being super tragic asking like βWho hurt you??β, which is pretty accurate π
I did. I went to see it with my mom. And speaking of movies that can make you sad...The Philippou brothers definitely want to do as much emotional damage as to scare you.
I mean, yes it has that quality. But it's clearly the filmmaker's love letter to his dog, so that helps.

People who watch horror movies all year, looking at people who watch them just during Halloween season (Image of three men in aristocratic clothing standing upon a balcony and appearing disdainful.)

I wasn't a fan. Very beautiful to look at, though.
