Oh hey! Itβs Julianna!!
This is great for the community. Nuxt UI Pro and Nuxt Content's paid offerings becoming free and funded was sorely needed.
Thanks to @vercel.com and team.
I'm sorry you felt dismissed. I'm not talking about you. There are legitimate conspiracies that are made without any context on the guy purely in a sensationalist fashion. Quite a few of them.
Most recently I had a YouTuber and streamer pop up in my texts asking me to provide accurate information.
That's fine and a valid critique. Have it out in the Discord instead of trying to add some new "CNA" layer onto an existing unfounded array of conspiracy theories that casual bystanders aren't fact checking or aware of.
Many in the community can believe in the absence of context that there is a person who could be malicious and self-important. I know him personally and professionally, as do many others in the community.
He has the reputation of being a pain in the ass at times, but there's no bigger motivation here
He maintains nvm, so I don't think he's doing this to add more notches to his proverbial package-lock belt
Anyways, I'm gonna get back to coding. I don't agree with his style of fixing things, but posts trying to "link things together" end up bringing uninformed people into a convo with misleading FUD
I like you, so I'm sorry if this comes off as dickish <3
The scope of it was massive. There was a lot of name calling, there were websites made, etc.
I firmly take the stance that it crossed over into bullying territory.
He and I work together and I've known him before that. I work on the team that patches JS Vulns and he's not in the engineering org.
ITT it's dogpiling because plenty of vital people know him and his motivations and can vouch for him and his character. There were a lot of conspiracy theories about how he gets paid and if he's dangerous.
The initial discussion led to some okay outcomes, but people piled onto him for ~5 days.
Thank you ππ»
I almost exclusively take issue with is the "It's all connected" conspiracy theory nature of this callout, and the fact that he got dogpiled into oblivion last July.
I just think it's cruel and not constructive. There's chat in the Discord about how to avoid the size changes.
I seem to recall Jordan working with James directly on e18e as a result of last years cluster, so I'm surprised to see that Ben is trying to name + shame Jordan publicly if they are already working together.
To be very clear, in this case "this behavior" is finding and patching a critical vulnerability around **password hashing** in a way you don't agree with because it adds kB to the package download of browserify-crypto.
The alternative is unmaintained software with password vulnerabilities.
Constructive ways people can help instead of dogpiling on maintainers:
* File an issue github.com/e18e/ecosyst...
* Read more about e18e.dev

Sorry but are you advocating for Jordan not to patch a critical vulnerability on something that hashes passwords?
Feel free to bitch about dep sizes and his weird Node version "isms", but he doesn't get paid for downloads or CVEs found. Stop trying to find something that isn't there.

For a second my voice to text kind of failed me, and it said βbutt hole makingβ. Almost let that one slip in there.
Can you make a reaction video to button hole making tutorials
Now all I can imagine is a set of custom icons in a Figma trying to have lame tech app Trump branding. Design system of nightmares
Hahaha omg YES I think so, but they forgot to touch the bottom right pixel to the checkmark so it looks like itβs βbehindβ which is what the opacity change (I think) is attempting to do.
The trivia host seems invested in this answer
The checkmark asset includes a squiggle in the bottom right corner so it looks βoffβ
Just saw a screenshot of truth social for the first time. Their verified checkmark isnβt vertically centered and the level of incompetence it takes to do this in 2025 feels on brand.
