"If they don't adopt it..."

So, what is output isn't important, as long as the tools he's selling are used.

If it actually improved efficiency, cured cancer, or made all babies happy, they wouldn't be begging all companies to use it. But instead it's a hammer looking for a nail.

But you can "here it run!"

It seems that if you opt out, people can still manually "request" feedback from "you". It just won't automatically offer it.

I was still able to search for my name as a reviewer a week after doing the opt-out form.

Wrong tense. Has been purchasing. There's been plenty of stories and evidence that the DoD, among other groups within the federal government, has been buying data from data brokers for years. Look at the contracts with TransUnion for starts.

He needs Facebook or 2017 Twitter numbers of subscribers - if all the users on those sites paid, just to satisfy his current burn rate, let alone the increases he'll need once all those new datacenters come online. There is no way he gets that level of participation without a massive bailout first.

You didn't convince anything. You poisoned the well with bad data. Convincing it insinuates that it's sentient, which it isn't. It's like saying you convinced a sidewalk to have salt thrown on it or that you convinced a refrigerator to stop working.

I'm sure it's to enjoy the massive Florida tech and military hub of... Um... The Okefenokee swamp?

Not illegal, but Carr, the chair of the FCC told CBS that he didn't want that candidate on TV, saying he was removing an exception to a rule that allowed it. CBS told Colbert that he was not to air the interview. CBS also has some business in front of the FCC that would be in jeopardy if they did.

Something, something, children's parties?

Really, none of them do. You need to keep a trail of paperwork from the birth certificate to your current name in all situations.

That's a /pretty/ big PCI-DSS violation....

Data has proven that people won't want a bridge over the river. It's clear that path isn't popular before the project is even considered.

It's a hard pivot to AI chatbot doctors -- which aren't doctors, can't diagnose, treat or prescribe meds and at this point don't exist. But many people are convinced that it is a thing because of a TV commercial said so.

If you've been following along, you will find that most of the broadband infrastructure projects were cancelled as soon as Trump took office, and many of the project were left unfinished. In very rural areas, they don't have better than satellite service, which often can't do a basic video call.

Here's the thing though... Many won't have a choice. Hospitals and clinics are being shut down at an alarming pace. There are now places in northern Michigan where the closest /clinic/ is 85 miles away. That's 2 hours each way for a clinic with limited hours and staff.

Supplying an RV with passable Internet access is much different than hosting servers... There literally isn't enough spectrum in the entire world to connect a modern data center, tossing aside the latency issues which makes it unusable by itself.

All the economists are saying it. Just nobody is giving them the mic because they don't like the story.

Don't forget -- bandwidth and latency is a real problem. Even if you could build stuff up there, somehow power it, somehow cool it, how do you connect to it? It's not like you can run fiber from the poles to it...

Fake it until you make it. That's been his MO for the last decade, if not longer.

Part of the problem is that when it goes down, it's going to take down a TON of other folks with him. a LOT of mutual funds have poured way too much into his stocks.

If you dig into that study even further, not only did 95% of the projects "fail" but the statistical remainder didn't produce or increase revenue enough to offset the cost of the project.

Realistically, there is no way companies are making money on this -- except for those selling AI tokens.

Having to deal with people that aren't trying to suck up to them? Yeah, that would probably be a living hell for most of them...

Growing up around there, all the school buses run on propane. Kids, as young as 1st grade learned that the freezing temperature of propane is -40. You'd hit that a few days most years.

They did at least donate the AS3 compliers and LLMs to Apache, which kept my stuff going. But they then killed off the runtimes.

The web finally caught up in 2022 to where the FVM was in 2010

They've been so caustic to each of their use bases for soo long. Photoags by forcing AI. Illustrators by breaking some major workflows. Desktop publishers by ignoring iD for the last decade. Web designers by ignoring all of their products. Developers by killing and restarting all of their stack.

Don't just look at their revenue -- look at the number of subscriptions and customers they have. Revenue has been propped up by them increasing the costs to the subscriptions as well as removing most of the discounts they offered. They stopped their smaller bundles to push people to the bigger ones.
