Just old enough that social media wasn't a thing when I was a teenager and I am eternally grateful for that fact.

I say on paper, because I never benefitted from the allegedly good economy of the 90s because that shit doesn’t matter if you’re poor to start with. Politicians love talking about helping the middle class all the time, which is a slap in the face when you’re on the poverty line.

I’m also late x, and let’s be honest: before the ‘09 we had the ‘02 crash which hit when I was 26 and the oldest cohort of millennials who didn’t skip classes had just finished undergrad. People my age were pretty fucked, but millennials have never even known a job market that was even good on paper

It's a little wacked to rate that Goblin Slayer movie higher than Ninja Scroll. Admittedly, they're not even comparable in terms of animation quality and legacy. Entertainment value weighs my ratings heavily, though, and GS was more entertaining to me.
