Would you view this rejection of, shall we say, “the educationally elite” as possibly stemming from the ever-increasing economic inaccessibility of formal post-secondary education, thus giving rise to trust in chatbots to make many folks feel like they’re playing on an educationally level field?
There is already a gap in current society that tries to equate theoretical knowledge vs practical knowlede (bjj tutorial syndrome?) and know we also have to deal with this stupid idea that no knowlede and following instructions (vomited by an AI) equals a practical solution.
I certainly would never say that AI can’t help you to learn something. It’s a useful tool. But its lack of actual knowledge and experience shows why Professor ChatGPT won’t have any students winning worlds 😄
So, I gave a talk this weekend called “AI Can’t Teach You BJJ” and started out with a demo where I asked ChatGPT how to do a scissor sweep. The audience was really engaged and it was a fantastic time 🙂🙂

I picked up a le cruset Dutch oven a couple years ago on sale and it’s the best culinary purchase I’ve ever made. Stews, soups, and braises have become quite the mainstay.
If you’re a consumer of crustaceans, my go to is shrimp & grits. It will give you a similar vibe to gumbo and rice, but with grits providing the starch base, which I find makes my breakfast brain happy.

I’d love to be wrong, but they haven’t changed course at all. Slowed sometimes, but undeterred. They’ve been running this playbook for decades and a few protests/social media videos aren’t going to change it. An election certainly won’t.
Unfortunately, you are making a distinction without a difference. Whether they care or not, they’re not going to change their course. They will need to be dealt with harshly.
