I was grateful for the opportunity to connect with folks at Greater Andover Indivisible and the Tewksbury Democratic caucus! We’re currently hard at work collecting signatures to get on the ballot. Being out in the community and hearing directly from people is what this campaign is all about.

Today, as the Massachusetts House votes on a major energy affordability bill, l urge lawmakers to be pragmatic but never lose sight of scientific fact. Our climate and our economy depend on it.
Parts of the PROVE IT Act, which I advocated for with Citizens' Climate Lobby, have been recently signed into law, strengthening American competitiveness and transparency.
At the same time, the EPA's rollback of greenhouse gas endangerment finding is a troubling step backward.
Climate change is real. The science is clear.
I am ready to channel our voices into a powerful force for good on Beacon Hill, and I hope you’ll join me in this fight.
Last night, I talked about why I feel the Commonwealth is falling short, but also why I have so much hope that a better future is possible. Our society is ready to embrace progressive change. We have no reason to settle for anything less than greatness; we must only be brave enough to try.

I’m deeply saddened by the tragic news of the sinking of the Lily Jean. Fishing and its men and women and their families are the heartbeat of Gloucester. I thank the Coast Guard for their response and I offer my heartfelt prayers and condolences to the crew and their loved ones.
This week was an empowering reminder of why I’m so proud to live in Massachusetts.
