I keep seeing folks say they'll just accept a Teen Friendly account on Discord rather than scan or ID and I don't know if I wanna mass normalize leaving NSFW pals out in the cold yet again. Especially with all the censorship stuff goin on I think we gotta stand with the freaks now more than ever.

I'm waiting to see how bad the Discord ID system really is at launch. If general use needs my ID/verification, I'm out and will swap. The news does get worse everyday.

So weird Valentines Day revelation, but just learned that @iodescence.bsky.social (fiance) was actually a baller D2 player back in the day and just.......had the Sunshot catalyst in her inventory. Those who played back in 2018 knew how annoying that was to unlock.

You could, ya know, do what Bluesky does and make it "OPT-IN" instead of using my ID. This clarification makes it over-reaching.
Bluesky has toggles in settings for it to not be shown if you don't want to. Its on the USER to make that choice. Don't force stuff on the collective.
There's plenty of good alts that exist. People need to not be afraid to migrate to something else.
Twitch constantly makes bad decisions again and again but people don't switch because "it's where to be". Granted they don't go THIS far but I'm curious what will get people to move off Discord.
