[FR] Le "hack" du weekend : afficher les horaires de métro sur un écran e-ink. Il est connecté à un serveur Django en local qui s’occupe de générer et envoyer l’image directement sur l’écran en local.
C’est agréablement assez simple à mettre en place et j’ai plein d’idées de trucs à faire dessus.

E-ink screen from usetrmnl. It displays the schedule of the next metro on line 8 and line 1 for the two stops near me. The screen is divided in two columns, each columns displays the next 4 metro schedule.

The next Paris métro stops schedule on a cool e-ink screen thanks to @usetrmnl.com. The device is connected to a custom Django server on a raspberry pi and everything is processed on my local network.
I had a great time making this work and there's definitely more I want to do with this device !

Dune: Prophecy is a slow and cerebral meditation on the power of patience HBO’s new Dune prequel delivers on Bene Gesserit lore and not much else.

Seen most of Dune: Prophecy's first season, and it's a much sharper story than Sisterhood of Dune. Works well when it's focused on the Bene Gesserit. But it's a very quiet and lore-dense slow burn that might not grab non-fans because the palace intrigue aspects are very Standard Fantasy™. My review:
