Technicians have completed the construction of #NASARoman at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.
The mission will revolutionize our understanding of the universe with its deep, crisp, sweeping views of space: https://go.nasa.gov/4rZZnYg
I think our country sinks beneath the yoke:
It weeps, it bleeds, and each new day a gash
Is added to her wounds.
Follow up to the previous post, Iβm both middle aged and ADHD and frequently just lose the thread - authors, please post away about your work, a lot of us genuinely need frequent reminders! Youβre helping out your readers! #booksky
Happy SpaceX 1 million satellites FCC application comment deadline day to all who celebrate
Thank you for posting about it - I had meant to preorder it last time I saw, and made sure to get that order in this morning. Very much looking forward to reading it!
Cannot tell you how depressing it is to read that people are simply refusing to read nonfiction after youβve worked really hard to write a nonfiction book you believe in, in case anyone is wondering why Iβm posting so much about my book which comes out in a few weeks #BookSky
The party tonight was space theme (yay!) and I was SO HAPPY to see a bunch of Sailor Moon cosplayers - my two fave senshi especially!

Not a lot of wins out there for us creatives lately but Iβll absolutely take this one.
When we talk about Baby Boomers not getting off the stage: In 1997, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2007, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2017, the US president was born in 1946.
And next year in 2027? The US president will have been born in 1946.

Apple's got a lot of announcements this week, but one huge risk might get overshadowed amidst the noise β the way they're adding support for video podcasts threatens to enshittify the last truly open online media. It's not too late to push them to keep it open. www.anildash.com/2026/02/28/a...
RIP cheap chicken thighs
Same - I shed no tears for Elon on this one. I hope all his best and brightest continue to get poached by Blue or literally anyone else, and hope that Starship goes nowhere.
I bet the Gateway is just on backburner for now. Hoping more will be revealed there soon.
oh nooo
(The National Park Service is beloved, but I have yet to see an NPS shirt in the wild outside the US. NASA shirts though... everywhere.)
All the Artemis goals after II seemed absolutely nonsense to be honest. Kind of "I want a pony for my birthday" energy
Truly. Isaacman seems confident it'll happen, but all the posturing means zip without the money behind it.
In all seriousness, after last year it is very heartening hearing this kind of NASA swagger. You can travel anywhere on earth and you will find people wearing NASA shirts. What other US federal agency has fans? The idea of slashing it & losing that cultural currency was madness.
I feel like I'm going to turn into an Isaacman fangirl after this conference if I'm not careful.
This was a long time coming, but it's also really something hearing the NASA-first pride coming out of this conference. Great to hear!
A note from this Girl Scout mom: Girl Scouts is openly and proudly and loudly inclusive!
"Standardization and flight rate is our path back to the moon" - Isaacman -- yep!
Credit where it's due to NASA for this major course correction on such a high-pressure mission.
Thank you for posting this - I found it very informative.
Big thank you to Chelmsford DPW for being out there this morning on main roads pushing the snowbanks bank so the roads aren't so narrow. Greatly appreciated!
Since Galaxy Quest! Wow, that is quite an endorsement. Really looking forward to it now.
