behind the scenes it's executing the perl-based Exiftool in wasm - kudos to Andrew Sampson for his package zeroperl (that does most of this complex logic) and bjorn3's "wasi_browser_shim," which lets this work totally on the client
this weekend i shipped exiftool-web, a way to run the famed OSINT / image metadata tool all in the browser! demo (exiftool.lucasgelfond.online ) and source code (github.com/lucasgelfond...)
