It's less depressing than TLOU II if that's any form of scale for you? I really enjoyed Silent Hill 2, one boss in particularly made me pretty emotional. Really good game but it will tug on you in some ways that I wasn't expecting. Fear in the way of grief is the most scary to me.

I'm ngl, it's been months since I played the remake, but the game still haunts me with the ambience. The soundtrack was stellar along with everything else... In my restless dreams, I see that town.
