I used to use it for things like this until it started making up random numbers that didn't match the source. Causes real interesting bugs that end up wasting more time than I saved.
Sadly, that doesn't exist unless you work at a studio. Or you're making a terminal game.
I like making video games when I don't have to worry about art or animation.
I think a good comparison for a fast-paced shooter would be Arsenal. Arsenal is in your face, all the time. You instantly see a huge "Deploy" button. Everyone sees the map vote. Quick respawn times. Large, obvious UI. No real distractions.
I'd ask, what is the point of the lobby? How does it benefit the player? It looks nice, but my conjecture is that it hurts retention. I saw multiple players idle during the map vote, and some left (in fact, nobody even voted on the map-I had to look around to find the voting)
Re. the gameplay, I'm a bit averse to my character not being locked to my mouse. I need to hold RMB practically the entire time I play the game. I don't personally find that enjoyable.
The first thing I immediately noticed is that I joined and wasn't in the action. There's a small button to join the current match, and it's not super clear off the bat what's happening, because you also have your weapons in the lobby.
What was the original?
CAN I LOOK UP A TV SHOW CHARACTER’S NAME WITHOUT SEEING A PICTURE OF THEM BEING KILLED 2 SEASONS LATER
@maximumadhd.lol Hey-is the FFlag tracker down or broken? It hasn't had a commit in 3 weeks. Maybe I missed something!
Hello BlueSky!
Except the proctor software will probably ask for administrator permission for god knows why, and there goes the point of all that. Ah.. Windows.
