Text reads, "Seven Sacred Teachings: Love" accompanied by a photo of a golden eagle perched on a rock.
Represented by the eagle, love shows up as solidarity 🦅
It’s the care we have for one another on the job, in our communities, and in our union. When one worker is struggling, we lift each other up.
Union strength begins with looking out for one another.
Let us honour the lives impacted not only with our words, but with our commitment to building safer, stronger communities for every child in this country.
We stand together. And we will move forward together.
Now is the time to hold space for those who are grieving, to support the educators and first responders who are carrying unimaginable weight, and to wrap our arms around one another as Canadians.
We will debate, we will disagree, and we will challenge one another. But when it comes to our children, our communities, and a nation in shock, we stand together.
In moments like this, we are reminded of who we are. I am proud of how leaders from all political parties responded — with compassion, respect, and unity. This is Canada.
