A Blue-and-Gold Macaw perched in profile on a wooden beam, displaying its blue wings, yellow chest, and long tail feathers. The parrot faces left, with lush green trees and a blue sky in the background.
A black mailbox mounted on a wooden post against a rock wall, featuring silver stickers on the side that read "510 TRAT PL" stacked in three lines. A snake is peeking its head out of the mailbox opening, while the tip of its tail rests on the back curve of the mailbox
A vibrant male peacock walking across a paved zoo pathway, its long green train trailing behind it. The background shows lush tropical plants, palm trees, and a winding path.
A raccoon perched high in the crook of a large tree branch, surrounded by a dense canopy of green leaves against a bright sky.
Three aquatic turtles basking on a submerged log in murky water. Two large turtles with yellow-striped necks sit close together on the higher part of the log, while a third, smaller turtle rests near the water on a lower branch. Floating leaves surround the log in the dark water.

A photograph shows a black cat hiding under a raised wooden porch. The cat is crouched low to the ground, with its eyes visible. The porch is supported by wooden posts, and there's a mix of grass and dirt around the base. A bright lens flare is visible in the upper right corner of the image, caused by sunlight
A close-up photograph shows a pink and white camellia flower bud emerging from a cluster of dark green leaves. Several other buds are visible in the background.
A large alligator lies partially out of the water on a muddy bank. The pond's surface reflects the surrounding trees and a cloudy sky. Scattered leaves float on the water
A close-up photograph shows a cat's face peering out from a thicket of green leaves and branches. The cat has a patterned coat of gray fur, and its eyes are bright and alert. The background is a dark, blurred mix of foliage.
A photograph shows two cats sitting on a weathered wooden deck. A tortoise shell cat is on the left, and an orange tabby cat is on the right. Both cats are facing forward. Behind them are a set of gray Adirondack chairs. The deck is covered in fallen brown leaves. A building with a dark gray exterior is visible in the background.
A photograph shows an orange and white cat sitting on a well-maintained lawn. The cat is facing away from the camera. Behind the lawn is a brick house with a porch and dark-colored roof. The porch has furniture visible on it. The scene is bathed in sunlight, with areas of shade created by trees and shrubs.

I think itβs a good thing Bluesky is having a bit of an existential moment with this moderation situationβ¦ we needed these kinds of moments in order to press forward and be forced to better prioritize further decentralization.
As it currently stands, when the average person gets fed up with Bluesky for whatever reason, their βright to leaveβ looks like them just *actually* leaving and exiting the ATmosphere completely β which is both detrimental to the ecosystem and also will hurt Blueskyβs βbottom lineβ indirectly
Jay is right about this, but I think the Bluesky team needs to expedite making βleavingβ easier for the average person.
Is it really a βright to leaveβ if 99% of the population has no idea how to leave and/or are lacking the technical skills/time needed to do so?
certified bangers aren't enough. i need them notarized too

I got bored, so I was researching how to make my smartphone more "boring". Is that a paradox?
it's not really something you can measure but those small individual changes in attitude will add up, I think
a lot of people talk about the economic aspect of UBI, which is fair, but what interests me far more is the social effects of giving everyone a standard issue vote of confidence and a reminder that they're valuable

Modern problems require modern solutions. In this economy you gotta watch your treasure.

Not gonna downplay the nuttiness of the guy, as, not gonna lie, he included antidepressents in the list, but maybe you don't have to be there? Googled and found snopes as the first result. www.snopes.com/fact-check/r...
