What a wonderful time attending and presenting with my friend and OBU colleague Matt Emerson at Nicaea 2025 in Rome!

Saw friends new and old, received helpful feedback on a future project, enjoyed fun and encouraging fellowship, and didn’t eat a single bad meal!

Enjoyed giving two plenary papers this weekend at the ETS Northeast meeting on the beautiful campus of Gordon-Conwell Seminary! I was sharpened by great discussions about the importance of retrieving Athanasius for today.

Agreed. It loses its core a little bit in Season 3 when Netflix takes over, but the first two seasons are among our favorites of all-time
