if spare cards could carry over, player would have more options for creative solutions, but i need to thinking more how to make secrets... secret.

yup, it’s all default shadows for now. and i’m not sure i’ll even use dynamic lighting - i’m still before a proper art pass.
Bad North is on my mind, because the author used shaders for water waves effect. Lava is more like molasses tho, so i’ll keep sketching until i land something good and gooopy
ah i'm not keeping it as is rn, it was a logic bug anyway: the landing check happened before they actually landed so they just stood there!
but i'm trying to figure out how verticality could work, and npcs carrying each other on their shoulders actually sounds fun :]
