Do you feel that itβs purely repurposing a failed chip or that itβs also influenced by a market shortage?
Seeing a lot of excitement about Appleβs announcement of the lower-cost MacBook Neo, which sounds like a good deal. But has anyone addressed that they likely moved in this direction, using whatβs normally an iPhone processor, due to the chip shortage being caused by AI?

Did you know I have a Substack? Itβs free, itβs random, and itβs intermittent. But I do write about my work, my research, my principles, and my search for selfhood though β of all things β comics!

A digital drawing of author Maia Kobabe, a white nonbinary person with short brown hair wearing a patterned blue shirt, who scowls while holding up a copy of eir book GENDER QUEER: A MEMOIR. Maia is saying: H.R. 7661 is a national book banning bill which seeks to remove any book that "involves gender dysphoria or transgenderism" from all public schools in the US. This would ban my books, and any other book with trans themes, from public schools. PLEASE call your House Reps and say: NO ON H.R. 7661!

Capital One Travel & the Capital One credit card are the worst customer service I have ever experienced! This includes local vendors and βMom & Pop stores.β
I recommend for everyone to stay away from their βservices.β I am likely to be closing all my accounts with them, credit rating be damned.

@tessfowler.bsky.social graphic memoir "Take the Fall" is truly amazingly beautifully created; a Poignant and disturbing story of taking away innocence; and resilience through medical and emotional trauma.
I hope many will support Tess and Chris. Their story is inspiring.

* READ it ASAP. This is my advice to all of you. I have no personal interest in nor gain any benefit from the purchase of this work.
I am reading @tessfowler.bsky.social's graphic memoir TAKE THE FALL -- and it is extraordinary. Keep in mind, I am a #GraphicMedicine scholar and researcher on cancer narratives in #comics...and this is so much more than solely that.

What great news! And much deserve.
I wish I had just filmed this: Sally was so excited to go romping in the snow, then β she had a moment. Her doggy brain recalculated as her head poked out of the snow bank. βNope, nope, nope!β her eyes seemed to say as she darted back for the door, a gas-like trail of flakes tailing behind her!
Abolish ICE, prosecute and imprison its leaders, impeach and remove the President from office. This is the only sane reaction to a group of armed men kidnapping and gunning down our neighbors in the street.
I felt nervous to write this. Maybe that means itβs worthwhile.

As I drive around my local communities, I am seeing US flags both at half- and full-mast. This is at both official or governmental locations as well as not. I donβt know how to interpret all this. Is it a quiet sign of our political divide locally? Or am I overreading something at a tense moment?
