I've just caught up with the news that Tony has died. I'm sorry for how much you have grieved before his death and now. You were and are heroic.

Stay off the cigs everybody!
I'm so glad we know better now
Take that, kids
I tell you what, I was floored recently when I got bronchitis and the consulting physician said "you get bronchitis quite a lot, did your parents smoke?" Yes they did. "Well, you've probably got lung damage." I mean you know about secondhand smoke but you don't KNOW about it until you do.
How beautiful!
A true New Zealand icon
Well, Pulp is playing in Auckland next weekend, and I know my number one wish for the setlist youtu.be/nCZI4RkK5OY?...
I've been paying a lot of attention to the terrorist's appeal hearing this week because I work near the Court of Appeal, and have been appalled at the security measures necessary to protect the people who need to be in court. I think Ahad Nabi continues to speak for us all
The Court of Appeal had so many police there yesterday to protect families of the mosque attacks. As a politically neutral public servant I've fully considered the remark I'm about to make which is that the terrorist should be ignored forever and live a life of only bad things.
This is massively helpful for me right now, for something I'm helping someone work through - thank you so much
WE'LL SEE
The gang in Scooby Doo simply would not have time for that volume of trips and adventures given how time consuming all their various depositions and court dates would be for ongoing criminal cases they were key witnesses for
The kids wanted cats. So we got cats. Day one, I've been up for an hour with a velcro baby purr machine called Bumble, aged 3 months, and I'm deranged with exhaustion already 🐈⬛
I agree, just proceed with a vibes-based strategy and everyone going left
Thank you though I'll look into it
Looks beautiful, thank you
That's all I need to hear 🏳️🌈💸
I'm not super-fussy about the wine I drink, but I would love to stop buying wine from vineyards owned by billionaires, conservatives and anti-climate no-hopers. Have you got a favourite?
Really felt kindred with the mum ahead of me at the water fountain growling her two "OI! Kei te whakarauna kōrua!"
'Tis the season
I hate to see armed cops in this country patrolling outside the synagogue around the corner from the kids' school. What a surreal sight.

Got those nerd kids who quietly listened to the whole @nzgeo.bsky.social feature about moa tracks for a bedtime story.
Good old Jim Bolger eh? He once told me my baby was a very bouncy Māori which I thought was a nice compliment.
A photo grid of 12 Hamilton community leaders, with their names underneath, with the text Decide Together, Thrive Together. VOTE to keep Māori Wards.
Look, did a bunch of us organise to have a pro Māori wards billboard on the same sign Hobson’s Pledge put their bullshit?
Absolutely.
Did we all put our names to it cause we're community leaders staunch in our position?
Absolutely.
I grow fonder of Donald McDonald as the years go by and wish him many more happy years of running for Council
I turned 42 and made a playlist for dancing, enjoy if that's the kind of thing you're "into" open.spotify.com/playlist/5kX...
Oh I DO love to receive a $500 power bill! Well, I'm exaggerating for effect. It's really only $489.52
Don McGlashan, simply love him
