I've had Β£1 = $1.50 in my head my entire life. Can't be bothered to check if it's still true.

Protect Kevin Bacon at all costs.
I saw an episode of it at my grandmother's for the first time, and every part of it felt extremely off and contrived.
CCHQ apparently chipper tonight, Iβm told.
As the Assembly of Experts convenes in Tehran, theyβre βutterly convincedβ Susan Hall will be elected Supreme Leader of Iran.
The only thing I've learned about Nick Tyrone is that he prides himself on being completely wrong about everything.
It feels silly to say but the glee over the Eurovision result was when I was like "this doesn't really have much to do with Israel at all, does it?"
The Labour Party and Bayern Munich were founded on the same day. No idea how I know this.
I was very close to turning down appearing when I did when the filming date fell 3 days after my last university deadline. Glad I took up the opportunity now.
Been calling him the British Musk ever since he started appearing everywhere.
I'm not a fan myself. #onlyconnect
Yeah, nobody was actually willing to make the salient point that Zack Polanski literally has "professional charlatan" in his career history.
One of the things I realised as I became older is that the people who ran the forums, game servers etc. I frequented as a kid had an immense amount of patience for us.
I was too young to have played Ocarina of Seasons/Ages when it came out (Minish Cap was basically the first game I ever played) but there's just something about it that says "sat in the living room on Christmas morning" to me. Makes me feel nostalgic.
A lot of Reddit communities have that low-level echo chamber effect where everything is slightly more intense because everybody agrees with each other. /r/Dogfree is the one where I agree with the basic premise but don't know if it's intense because of that effect or because of American dog culture.

I always found it weird how people had such black-and-white views of the characters. I never thought very highly of Daenerys even though a lot of what she did was admirable, and thought Littlefinger's ambition made him worth rooting for even if he was largely bad. People were baffled by that.
I got the original TOW for PS4 and never played it. May have to give it a look.
Not exactly what you're referring to but I'm sure Charli XCX used to be rendered 'charli xcx'
What's his voting record as a Senator like?
The minimum wage should not have age bands. I was once taught to do a part-time job by a 17 year old and paid more than her for the privilege. I don't see how that's not, at the very least, socially frowned upon.
I recognise that I'm just a different type of boomer for making this generalisation, but I think kids these days don't get enough engagement. I feel I was a good kid because my parents were always talking to me and indulging my niche interests, not because they were relatively strict.
It may have changed in the last five years, but the Conservative Society were pretty normal back when I was at Keele. The three parties (which, combined, were about 20 people) used to act like a single society to hold events for politicos.
When there's a government shutdown the President goes to the mountains to meditate. This is pretty basic stuff.
I feel the only reasonable response to the question of whether Reform could form the next government at this point is "it's far more likely than it should be". Difficult to put exact odds on it.
What does one expect to find when they Google random terms like this?
90% of my Google searches are because I'm too lazy to type out the URL, and the others are basically questions expressed as a bunch of key words.
I'd probably use "Green Parties" plural even if they were one party, because it'd be describing regional sub-parties either way.
> Be the first woman to serve as finance minister in your country
> Be appointed Deputy PM because you basically do everything
> The Leader resigns because he's 20 points behind in polls
> Stand to replace him
> Lose 85/10
Terrible what happened to Chrystia Freeland. Picture unrelated.
Trying not to sound like a hypocrite while simultaneously saying "we shouldn't idly speculate on the health of political figures we disagree with" and "could Trump get a smidgen of the scrutiny Biden got?"
