Happy Birthday for when it was! π₯³
If he'd acknowledged Shrove Tuesday, he could've declared today Ashcan Wednesday.
He meant Taco Tuesday but Michelle was too focused on "unpacking" box wine to notice the typo.
Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
Brown's rather apt
For TFTQ
The 2011 movie was great. I occasionally break into Man or Muppet to this day!
I'm all for introducing Kermit and friends to a new audience but I'd also like to see more from Henson Alternative as I enjoyed The Happytime Murders too.
The Green Cross Code Droid featured in at least two print adverts done in a comic art style.
David Prowse got to keep the droid used in the TV ads. He stored it in his shed where it slowly deteriorated. Many years later it was restored by fans of the campaign.
I still have my droid moneybox. π
That's one of two metal Coco badges I know of. There was also a third made of plastic that bore his name only, produced in conjunction with Esso.
Don't know much about the beacon characters your article mentions but I found an image of a Tick-a-Tee badge while looking for the Coco ones.
Coco the Clown (Nicolai Polakovs) promoted road safety in schools, with his Kerb Drill being the predecessor to the Green Cross Code. In 1963, the Queen awarded him an OBE for his efforts.
Can't find it online but iirc there was a comic ad of sorts for his school visits, sponsored by J. Lyons & Co.
The body's good but I think the head lets it down. I mean, that's some serious bum chin!!
Don't know of any. Perhaps you and your daughter could create one of your own?
My dad got a 3D printer for Christmas and is learning to 3D model using a free program.
Here's a model of the first incarnation of Brassneck from The Dandy, which he made last year using a 3D printing pen and brass rod.
I've seen a few customised Bananaman action figures before but that's a first for Appleman.

Custom Bananaman and Appleman figures found listed on a popular online auction site at a smidge over Β£150 for the pair.
Did you know about this @nedhartley.com @n-auchterlounie.bsky.social?

Trying hard to put TFTQ behind me but every so often Frazer posts something that causes concern.
Reading between the lines, John, it may be he's using DTT to source creatives unaware of his shamefulness.
Please consider publishing a retrospective that serves as a warning to those not in the know.
Grifters gonna grift.
Whenever I watch the sequel I wonder how much James's parents made from selling land in both their front and back gardens to developers. Must've been a tidy sum for them to leave behind the Honda CB160 in the shed.
Another tragic disintegration from stepping on a random Reform Party logo placement. π
The collection complimented the diecast figures ERTL had as part of their 1989 Batman movie range.
Produced en masse (I remember the Batman range being in all the discount shops), decent carded examples can still be found at a reasonable price today.
One of 10 diecast figures from the DC Comics Super Heroes collection. Each came with a trading card showing a comic cover.
Yours is one of two Superman poses and came with a card showing Action Comics #485.
Sold individually in 1990, they were then available as 5-packs in 1993.
Can relate. That said, I am rooting for Dick Van Dyke, who is mere hours away from reaching his centenary birthday!
How are your smaller four packs kept together?
Hmm. I can see the NX-01 being a good fit. And Voyager.
As for Battlestar Galactica...
The Millennium Falcon would perhaps be better suited to his style. Would like to see it done. Surprised it's not been done before, as far as I'm aware anyway.
Enough salt to grit a footpath.
Subliminal mΓ©nage Γ trois vibes too!
