Above all else, I do think AI tool use is cool
And useful, but with that exception of Claude all my models run local. There’s just too much of a privacy and security black hole with this stuff
My TikTok feed is just one user after another rushing to cash in on the hype, then 6 posts later talk about all the stuff it can’t do. It’s a slow motion head-on car crash except we’re all trapped in both cars
Maybe I’m finally aging out of tech but I fiddled with OpenClaw and it scares the shit out of me; not just because of what it can do, but the amount of sheer god-tier access you could give it (even accidentally). There are people out there setting up brokerage accounts for it to “gamble with”

It’s so cool that everyone looks at AI tools that have disclaimers to the tune of “this might make mistakes” and accepts it, but if I say to my boss or customers “I might make mistakes” the reception might be vastly different
It’s so bad. I have to basically skip any video on a topic made in the last year or so. I also wonder if this actually saves content creators time, given that it takes time and effort to create the generated content?
