New handle, who dis?
I've seen this happening during all my time hiring tech people in Indo. Some people see tech careers as a zero-sum game:
"If I'm not winning, others will win at my expense, so I should be seen as the top expert on my field even if I'm not, and even at the cost of me bashing others down."
