It scratches all the right itches for me
Yay, I have been no-lifing Pokopia
My kid has been playing Spider-Man on PlayStation again - it is one of their comfort games. However, I canβt help but think of all the multiplayer / live service game killed, the online version of Spider-Man is the one I wanted most. Being able to swing around with friends would have been awesome.

A screenshot from our upcoming game Amberspire. One of the factions, Dais, has arrived in the city. To the right is a portrait of one of their members. To the left, a description: The city has drawn the attention of a new off-world faction... Dais Dais are a nomadic religious order in a fervent quest to maintain the corporeality of their god. Small cadres travel the galazy in search of artifacts, converts, and political assistance to maintain the inertia of their faith. It is rumoured that the Dais knights have supernatural abilities, but these are so rarely seen they cannot be resolved. The Dais favor adds two dice storage spaces, and the penalty removes two dice storage spaces.
Build a city on the ruins of an outer space mausoleum, manage resources to construct and maintain buildings, and preserve balance with the local ecosystem.
Oh, and try not to get on the wrong side of the strange factions keeping tabs on you.
Amberspire is out on May 6th!

Every day I am reminded this place is no different than the rest of them, an american social media platform run by techno-fascists who hate their users, and I constantly hover over the delete account button because of it
It actually kicks ass how much the people who run this site hate the people who use it. Just constant seething meltdowns over having to put up with a bunch of artists, furries, and trans people instead of crypto-hustlers and AI guys making Linkedin-tier posts. I'm glad they're miserable, frankly
There are too many games if your world is Video Games.
For many, there are maybe one or two games a year that hold their attention. My wife is over the moon for Pokopia, and the last game release she cared about this much was Cult of the Lamb.
Can confirm. Kidney still intact, and I have tickets for April 1st.
We're looking to add some writers to our team, plus an artist to do some merch designs for us! If you're interested, please send in an app! I like to think we are pretty fun to work with, but I may also be biased.
I have two states of being: oversharing or withdrawing altogether.
Browaty is the poster child for term limits
Also, Sony hardly makes games for their own console, hard to also make them for PC.
Sorry. Those dreams are dashed.
Today @ghost.org crossed $10M ARR, as a bootstrapped non-profit foundation building open source software.
Indie publisher revenue earned with Ghost now ~$130M, and accelerating.
Every day my decision to only play my backlog feels more justified, while the console makers flail about looking for ways to squeeze any remaining pennies out of people they can
While I was playing Genshin, my kid was doing dailies in Star Rail. They stop, look at me with a serious face, and ask, βGenshin has the Statues of the Seven, and The Seven are a group in Fortnite, with Kafka and Blade now in Fortnite, is the island a branch of the Imaginary Tree?β
I love this kid.
βLook, I am Woody. Howdy, howdy, howdyβ

This event has a nap time on the schedule
Nintendo Indie World had a solid lineup. Excited to grab a few of them down the road, if I ever get the Switch 2 back from my Wife once she starts Pokopia.

If game devs ever want to see a game played in the most obscure and unintended ways, give it to an eight year old to try.
Yellowstone can erupt now.
it still feels odd to not be taking part in the launch of a new Warcraft expansion, but I am happy that everyone seems to be having a good time with it
My backlog clean out continues without any interference
I adore this absolute menace
