Soon, Sayr will be brought to the world. Fully open source, self hostable, and a central way to manage everything. Doras was our tool to consolidate your social presence, and Sayr will be the tool an organization can consolidate feedback, bug reports, and their project management entirely.
We've tried GitHub issues & projects, Linear, Clickup, Plane, you name it. Nothing bridged the gap. How can you have both a great place for developers to work from, while having users be able to contribute to the discussion. The last few months I set out to bridge this gap
We've always struggled in finding a good solution to project management on @doras.to. Linking bug reports with internal developer notes, tracking progress of feature requests and the demand for each one, keeping everything consolidated. π§΅
Today marked the end of my near 3 year saga at GitHub. I've met so many amazing people and had such a good time with everyone I crossed paths with. This chapters closed, and it's time to start the next one
We're always open to improving this shit, and being called out where we overlooked something is absolutely how we work. I think 99% of our users can vouch for that.
Thanks again for raising this, it's super appreciated and being worked on!
Hey! Founder of Doras here, appreciate the feedback on this. I agree, our wording isn't great here. This is more of a "we can put you on our homepage to showcase you" which we do to promote users. We don't wanna own anyones content. Before the end of the week I'll have this cleared up!

For anyone who uses Hyprland and wants to expand their OBS, I've written a half-decent script to change source visibility depending on your active window

It's not perfect, but works ok. GIF in the README to understand how it functions
Yeah the docks seem to be a Wayland thing, which most Linux distros have moved to. It was impossible, I'd say it's likely something that can be fixed now but the team haven't had much time to get it going yet. I look forward to the day
After nearly 3 weeks of Omarchy, I have an update!

Discussing what I like, don't like, and what I plan on doing going forward for my Linux folk out there

Sometimes propagation is slow, but when you need a quick cheap domain they're my go to as well

Ok so you have @neon.com, @supabase.com and @planetscale.com for hosting postgres. As someone who likes to try new things, what else is actually out there to test?
I think my biggest gripe with #bsky is that when I come back a few hours/day later, I need to scroll past things I've already seen. maybe I don't follow enough people? π€·
I hate the transparency on my galaxy buds for that reason, it sounds so artificial.
Ok, it's time to try #omarchy. With knowing the new Gnome will bork some extensions I rely on and KDE not supporting spanning windows across tiles (like fancy zones), I guess it's back to Hyprland to try my luck. I will miss Fedora though. Let's call it a 30 day arch challenge
If it does count as a missed view, I can see some big problems coming.
Side note, I'd be interested to know the difference between views with adblocker on a chrome based browser Vs Firefox
I'm in the same boat. Having YouTube on the TV is the biggest driver for premium id imagine as it's a lot harder to get around (at least what my lack of knowledge tells me). As a big YouTube on TV guy, it's a no brsiner. Also fuck Spotify π€£
Fuck that's π€
Great read. Will just say at least on my phone there was some overflow spilling on the sides, might want to look into your CSS π
Again, great read though
Not seen a Hoff bass in many many moons

If you're not interested in fourthwall and ordering samples, you might have something local in your city/country! Generally the places that print t-shirts and the likes. I'm sure local businesses would love to help!
