HeroesCon?

I had gone there for the first time in 2010. I went back in 2011 with my brother, it was his first con, and we’ve been going back every year since (aside from 2020 and 2021, obviously). Made some good friends with other fans who go each year and it’s great meeting various pros.

We’d need to do a meetup/group photo at HeroesCon! Great vibe and the organizers emphasize a family-friendly atmosphere. Great to meet lots of pros and discover new works, in addition to some back issue and art buying.

Aunt Avengers will be tricky. ;-)

That’s one reason I stick with going to HeroesCon. It has tabletop gaming, sci-fi and other such stuff, but comics are at the forefront: pros and vendors. Something for everyone.

That seems to be a recurring trend At various conventions. Becoming “comic” in name only.

That’s my usual plan at HeroesCon. I’ll usually do some back issue hunting with my brother towards the end of the day rather than start off with that.

Cool! I’m terrible as well. I regret thinking “next year” with Wrightson and Giffen. Now, I try to get what photos I can, providing I’m not holding up a line.

The ones that are like “I said I was sorry, why can’t people move on” don’t get it that no one is obligated to forgive them.

Dual states!

A friend used to go to an LCS where they had a price guide on the counter and would change the price of back issues if the guide indicated an increase. Never lowered the prices if there was a dip in price. He stopped going there.

Can’t hurt to reach out and ask.
