So, I wonder if this is the way to do that. Or if I'm just recognizing coincidences based on my searching for signs.

I am a Christian, but I don't want to condition the way I help people on whether they believe in my religious practice. I want to help people because we bear a responsibility to ensure that our community members are taken care of.
I started a non-profit in October, and had a meeting recently about starting a community garden in my area, and at the meeting, someone said, "you should consider partnering with a church that doesn't have one." And wouldn't you know...?
Was trying to divine what my next moves would be after I finish the development phase of this play, and my grandmother (out of the blue) mentioned that my/her pastor casually mentioned that I should join the church board... now, I'm really contemplating it.
You can see it in the description, if you don't want to open the article. Nitrates are the problem. They sell Nitrate-free options.
I understand that I can still get cable, but I just miss the shared experience of watching the same commercials, listening to the same music, and watching the same shows at the same time as a greater population of people.
Third spaces, Couch Co-Op, Cable (lol).
The soundtrack goes crazy though.
Confirms some feelings I have about Blaxploitation... regardless of how progressive the movie is compared to other movies in the genre.
...it falls into those trappings at some point. And that makes it hard for me to feel like it's a great movie (despite how it was received when it was made).
That said, every review on Letterboxed from a non-Black person was like 5 stars, and most from us were 3.5, sharing in my feelings about it.
Watched "Claudine (1974)" today, and it was good, but I had some feelings about it. For the time, I'm sure the movie was progressive, and while it does raise some great critique and conversation around the welfare system, its effect on the Black family, and stereotypes born from it all...
Definitely needs an acid with it.
I was in 3rd or 4th grade, relax.
Courage, Dexter, KND, Teen Titans, Code Lyoko...
I had a few.
Hoppers - 7.9/10
I really enjoyed it. The kids loved it. My only complaints are that the overarching message is one that feels flawed to me, and it feels like we're missing narrative tension and spark.
1275 for this buildout makes sense, but context matters. This was a bando that they just haphazardly fixed up (and haven't even fully finished fixing yet). (Drywall dust, improperly sized countertops, missing windows, fridge on the outside... gtfo).
I really just want to shout from the rooftops, "misogynoir is what kept Crockett and Harris out of their prospective offices! Not Gaza!" There weren't enough single-issue voters to offset either of their losses.
And I think you can be okay with her loss while recognizing the forces behind it.
That's cool! Glad to hear about more cat owners doing it. The cat I saw was the same way, just ready to move and run around. It was great. I think all house pets need that sometimes (save the small ones that get lost easily).

Put my fattest cat in a harness to get her used to the idea of it. She needs some exercises, and I was inspired by someone that was walking their cat in the park last weekend. I'll plan on keeping her in it today, and then, trying to get her outside on a leash for a few mins tomorrow.
Liberalliiiisssmmmmmmmmm
Just straight evil.
I have some other lessons learned that are all rooted to that first lesson.
โช๏ธ People will use you until they have no use for you, and then discard you as soon as it's convenient.
I finished the second draft of my play, but I phoned in the ending... So, I've gotta go back and fix that. For now, though, I've shared it with folks for feedback ๐ฅด
We did not ask to be apart of your kink, friends. That man got dirt on the bottom of his feet. You can tell he never wears socks.
Who do we have to petition at Sega to get you hired? Lmao. Let me know. I'll write a reference.
Not judging on green-ness yet because it's in low lighting and they've got that weird filter on the image.
oh, i was being greedy. i meant outside of those lmao. either way, dope shit, friend!
