It should work. Depends on what Arch is compatible with as an extention and what you might need to add.

Windows 10 is EOL even with the Extended Support.
They'd make great linux machines, and Zorin could be a great shout for those who just use a browser and no programs beyond Office.
But for New Devices. There's no beating Apple now on Price/Performance.
I've done both on Linux. Typically with Envision.
You a gamer? I recommend Nobara ngl.
I've been lucky I only found I go in the Terminal when I'm running VR or Streaming stuff.
Proton covers my games really well.
Oh I agree I daily it.
But understand some of the biggest games have anti-cheat issues with Linux.
And I come across a couple games that require a bit more knowledge than the average user has to get their game to run.
If you have to open a terminal to get it to work, it’s a UI/UX failure.
Obviously whatever you use is your preference, and sometimes it’s better to stick with what you know. So no beef to Windows and Android lovers.
But the fact users have really good price to performance with Apple.
Or the best user and software support for Linux EVER now.
Makes me very excited.
It’s why I live in the Linux and Apple camps.
I use the best tool for the task in front of me.
Am I just doing something easy and simple, I’ll use my Swiss army Knife (Apple)
Am I doing a whole project that I need more power or precision. I’ll go into the shed for something better. (Linux)
I’m not going to simp for Apple cause they have so much stupid money they can outlast the RAM crisis and their App Store charges are honestly a crime.
But I understand the end user picking something that syncs easier without adding more software or hassle.
Whereas:
Linux: Give them access to everything, install anything, do what you want it’s all open.
Or
Apple: We give them a closed ecosystem so people need to do less to do the simple tasks.
All the Windows/Android options seem to struggle now cause the software and hardware is a “middle man’s” marketplace.
Where every company and monopoly inbetween needs to make shareholders happy.
Making worse stuff for end users.
The current era of casual user computing is insane to me.
You have two choices for someone who wants to save money that isn’t a gamer.
Buy a MacBook Neo/Used MacBook Air.
Or
Install Linux on an old laptop that doesn’t run Windows 11.
Knowing a creator has been a sex pest and a huge manipulator to at least 11 people you know but either they don’t feel comfortable coming out about it or lack evidence since their DMs were deleted by the abuser…
