I also like to crisp the thighs up under the broiler while thickening the sauce on the stove. this time I sprinkled a little bit of corn starch, 1/2tsp? into the sauce and it turned out really nice

-good 6min sear, each side
-add 2cups chicken broth in addition to the water; you can make some of it more vinegar if you want it tangier
