In this special year, let's reflect: How can we incorporate cooperative values of democracy, equity, equality, and solidarity into our organizations and communities?
Cooperatives are not just businesses! They are social transformation movements that prove another economic model is possible.
From agricultural co-ops connecting local producers, to financial co-ops democratizing access to credit, to housing co-ops opening paths to homeownership, to worker cooperative associations (like us!) providing services and solutions to community and peers, cooperatives are building a better world.
Why do cooperatives matter more than ever?
They democratize the economy, redistributing power and creating shared prosperity.
They drive sustainability, prioritizing people, planet, and purpose over pure profit.
They strengthen communities through local investment and sustainable development.
