well you can't expect someone to be everywhere always. things take priority, things get busy. take the time you need! and when you do have that extra time, your friends will be there to welcome you back ^^

no dice on finding a surviving download, but the software might be "AOL Safety and Security Center". it seems to basically just be mcafee lol anyways i'll work with what i have for now

OK SO. 1. i think i got the original program wrong. 2. the gif i found only has half the frames. so i wonder if i'd have any luck finding a download for the other one...it's older though, so it might hit the same dead end

most of that time was spent trying to find a download of active virus shield since another ancient video showed that this might be from a spyware scanner, i was going to try to rip the sprites directly but unfortunately the original mirror went down in 2024 and i genuinely couldnt find another

and it's really unfortunate that people think the result has to be good immediately. they miss out on the journey, that sense of accomplishment when you finish a project, when you take a step back and realize "i made this myself!"
