I still listen to Haven by Marianas Trench ever since I stole that rec from you
Then again, I haven't done much with Fusion in the past year, maybe it's improved since I last tried it.
I don't know if I'm just stupid or what, but any time I try to do anything remotely complicated in Fusion, I find that my playback framerate dips to the point where I have no sense of timing, which is why I originally started using Motion Canvas.

Hey so this is fascism and the government officials promoting it are anti-American fascists
Seeing some chatter about Freja, Kiriko, and Lucio having a faster base speed in the latest #Overwatch patch. As far as my testing in both 5v5 and 6v6 customs shows, this is not the case. Freja, Lucio, and Kiriko still have a base 5.5 m/s move speed.
Congrats on your promotion!

Yes, I offered to pay him for his time. No, he did not accept payment even after I pushed for it.
For a scrapped video essay script I was writing, an editor friend of mine sat in an hour-long voice call with me while we frantically restructured the entire outline. Bless his soul for listening to my insane and self-indulgent ideas for that long and telling me no every time.
Bless both of you for sharing this arcane knowledge with us

we really gotta a handle on this whole internet thing, i'm starting to think it's getting out of control
In all honesty, Iβve been so swept up in the game itself that I havenβt had the time to properly pay attention to the soundtrack you made. What I *have* noticed of the soundtrack though is that it always seems so perfectly suited to the moment. Each cue really lends a rich flavor to the experience.
It's SWORD OF THE SEA launch day! I'm SO happy to be sharing this one at long last! We started work on it 2021 & it's been a major labor of love that whole time. @giantsquidstudios.com @mattnava.bsky.social alway push to make something poignant, artful & unique and I only hope the music follows suit

It was such a cool read, because in hindsight all the insights and phenomena he talks about seem blindingly obvious, yet before itβs outlined, some of those things were things I hadnβt consciously thought about
Adam Aleksic (aka EtymologyNerd) makes really cool content on this kind of online linguistics, and I really enjoyed his book covering these phenomena, Algospeak. Highly recommend borrowing the book from a local library (if available) or buying the book in whatever format you like.
