Another audiobook down. My first James Bond in this format. Dated for our modern times (Fleming sure didn’t look kindly on women) but it’s a damn great introduction to such an iconic character. Armitage is a great narrator too.

I watch movies to escape. To be entertained. For Mar10 day I watched one of my absolute all time favorites. Gorgeous animation, wholesome story and an incredible score. It transports me back to my childhood playing NES games. I adore this film. Makes me happy cry.

First physical book of the year knocked out. All the Vader stuff is fantastic, however this is not a Vader led novel despite what the hype and title says. The non Vader stuff is decent but nothing I haven’t seen before. When it hits it’s great but it’s got some issues imo.

About 8 hrs later and that’s a wrap on the extended dlc for RoboCop Rogue City. Leaner and meaner. Murphy doing his Raid/Dredd and taking on a tower. Game runs better. Action is almost nonstop. But some cool nods to franchise yet again. Big recommend.

And that’s a wrap on the Craig era. Some insane highs that are the best of franchise peppered with some missteps that try to make Craig a Bond he doesn’t fit. Pound for pound my personal favorite Bond. My Craig Ranking.
A flawed (villains are just plain weak) but thrilling and emotional finale to the Craig era. Craig’s best performance. Action set pieces that rival the best of the franchise. A scene stealing Ana De Armas. Beautifully somber.

Oh it’s the best looking Bond film ever. The goat Roger just popped off.
Deeply disappointing. Some highs (the cast, score, action) but some supreme lows. It’s honestly kinda boring. Blofeld is huge waste of potential. Mendes went too far into Moore territory and it doesn’t fit Craig at all. He feels stiff. Seydoux is great though.

Epitome of AA game as it runs rough, not that deep but it’s made with such a love and care for character and the franchise. Solid 20hr campaign with addictive if slightly repetitive combat. Getting Weller back was perfect. Now I got “Unfinished Business” to attend too ;)

Th perfect mixture of Craig’s more brutal/grounded Bond and the classic tropes of gadgets, Q, Moneypenny etc. huge set pieces and insane action. A phenomenal top tier Villain in Bardem. The ballsy yet brilliant choice to make M the main Bond girl. God Tier.

Disappointing follow-up. Script issues and shaky cam action really mar the entire experience. Seriously the editing in the action is beyond jarring.
Craig plays it more rage filled than smooth. Olga is great however and the climax is pun intended explosive.

Starting with the Craig era. Perfect reboot. Impeccable pacing. God tier action. Beautiful and tragic love story. Craig’s debut as 007 is about as flawless as a film can get. Campbell directs the ever loving fuck out of every scene. Eva Green top 5 Bond woman ever.

I agree completely. Also Goofy move is fucking great.
Superman 3 levels of bad and cheesy cringe. Entirely misses the character. Adds in dumb humor and quips. From start to finish a slog to watch.

Cali Big Bad Film Feat crew showed up for The Blade last night
Harks utterly batshit, non stop relentless Wuxia revenge film. The camera never stops moving. The pace is practically non stop. It’s exhausting, funny, drenched in blood somber. The action is superb with the final fight being a ”did he just do that?”

Hell of a in-depth documentary on an all timer. Doesn’t shy away from the troubles, the fights and all that came from making a classic. Very well done. Big recommendation. Matthew was right as always.

I actually restarted Rogue City is the prettiest PS3 era game on current consoles. Won’t break the dam on being excellent but it’s a damn good AA Robocop game made by a team that knows this franchise.
