Nothing says class war quite like destroying autonomous taxis and lighting data centers on fire. It almost has a hint of romanticism to it.
The ruling class have always been a driving force behind parades & BS pageantry. These celebrations attempt to tie together things nationalism, patriotism & obedience to power. It’s just bread & circuses. If you can keep the people distracted & pacified, they’ll never revolt.
Just bc society is designed in a way that forces working people to sell their bodies, time and labor power, just to be able to live, doesn’t mean that’s the way things have to be…
