I just finished Keeper, and I don't even know how to describe it, besides telling you that it's one of the most gorgeous and interesting games I've ever played and that you should absolutely play it too.

I just finished this one up tonight, and it's very cute. If you like cozy games where you collect and craft things, a fun story, and adorable mice, this might be for you!
It's on GamePass or $20 on Steam.

140 is so good. I played it at the ID@Xbox event before PAX weekend a few years back and then went home and immediately bought it.
These games are all amazing.
@theubersquid.bsky.social would tell you to go buy this.
If you havenβt played NORCO you should.

Big things coming
If you add in Knights and Bikes and then someone makes a game about swimming, indie games will be triathlon sims.
Did you know? In the earliest FPSes, back in the 90s, Nazi insignia were *how you knew who to aim at*
I broke so many joysticks playing that game.
Every gamer is now exactly 36 years old and everyone else just plays 5 free to play games that are inscrutable to everyone over the age of 55.
Tune into the Xbox showcase on Sunday where they'll reveal the next Call of Duty, made by a solo dev and 2,999 of his friends
I canβt wait for goth Stardew! π
This is the most accurate thing Iβve ever seen.
I know nothing about this game except that it's free on the Epic store right now and it looks adorable. Honestly that's probably enough to know.

this dumbass brought a whole damn nest to camp out for the switch 2 π π π
This looks super interesting for $3.
Happy curtain twitching day to all Switch 2 launch day folks!
The Switch 2 FOMO is hitting pretty hard today. I know there is no reason for me to own one, but that doesnβt mean I donβt want one.
Surprise!
The TRON: Catalyst first hour demo is out now on steam! Go go go!

Today is #TrailerTuesday!Β Β
If you're a fan of pixel art and enjoy adventure games, Shadows of the Afterland β«β¨ should be on your radar π―
Be sure to watch the trailer and add it to your Steam wishlist!
A friend of mine who loves books and maybe plays 1-2 narrative games a year asked me about Expedition 33.
Sadly, I had to tell her not to bother (she's very bad at games since she never plays)
Really hope they implement an actual "story" mode eventually so everyone can experience it.
This is an extremely interesting article that every gamer should read.
We also talked about Relic Abyss, a Vampire Survivors-like (is that a thing?) that we also really enjoyed.
It also has a great demo here: β https://store.steampowered.com/app/3017760/Relic_Abyss/
We also highlighted two great #indiegames this week.
Shroom & Gloom, a first-person, roguelike deck builder with a super unique art style.
You can grab the demo here: β https://store.steampowered.com/app/3271280/Shroom_and_Gloom/
We talked about Doom: The Dark Ages, American Arcadia and Crime Scene Cleaner on the #podcast this week.
We at United Videogame Workers-CWA condemn the studio closure of Cliffhanger Games by Electronic Arts. In an industry that generated over $450 billion and padded EA CEO Andrew Wilson's pockets to the tune of $25.6 million in total compensation in the year 2024, workers should not have to be subjected to this dehumanizing treatment. These hardworking families and industry veterans must now scramble to find new work during a time of increasing economic volatility, while the game that they worked hard on will never see the light of day. And for what purpose? For EA to be able to write off the cost of the studio and game production as a "business loss" on their taxes and make their stock prices go up. Making this disastrous decision following EA's previously announced RTO policies and commitment to DEI is an insult to injury to those already trying to stay afloat in the industry, particularly to the disabled, those with families, and Black and brown game workers. We as workers and the players who stand with us in solidarity deserve better and demand better.
Am I playing Crime Scene Cleaner? Oh you bet Iβm playing Crime Scene Cleaner.
Grab some great games for just $12!
Coming soon to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass: Metaphor ReFantazio, The Division 2, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and more!
