We just posted the largest update EVER on Models Resource! Not only is it the largest update on the models site, beating last month's record size update, but it is statistically the largest update we have posted on any of our sites to date.

Apologies for mitigations we have to make to account for increased bot traffic. We've had a huge influx of traffic consistent with AI bots.
This is on top of regular user traffic having doubled over the past 6 months.
We don't have a large budget, as you can imagine, but we're doing our best!

The Fell Knight. The resemblance is uncanny.
While working more on our verification tools for 3D models, I attempted to add animation playback to ensure, if a model includes animations, it plays correctly.
I get the feeling this is not correct. I am also not sure if I have ever felt such a threatening presence from an enemy in a game before.
I not only got sent a free copy of the brand new #DoYouKnowGaming card game by @didyouknowgaming.com , but I also just so happen to be in it. This is completely surreal and an absolute honour, thanks for including me!

Sorry, this isn't a feature, and not something we have plans to implement.
Seeing complaints (granted, on X, which no logical person uses) pointing out;
-Long approval times
-Assets not being a quality they want
-Missing a specific thing they want
-We reject submissions
But not addressing the *community driven* part of the site or the oxymoronic nature of those complaints
We had to introduce pagination to improve load times across all pages - by 5x their previous speeds. You can also filter games on the browse page now to a series specifically, if you wish to show only those results.
But appreciate your point; just that there isn't much of a solution.
Even if their complaints are contradictory, we actively work to improve what we can about the site, but we have a very clear set of standards which some people don't even realise exist in archival processes. Complaints come from people who simply aren't as experienced as they think they are.
We strive to improve our site each day, but we can't win with everyone.
We take too long? Let quality slip.
Quality too low? We'll take longer.
Missing something? Users upload stuff, rip it and upload it. Do it yourself.
We reject stuff? We'll just throw any quality control out the door.

If you'd like a counter point, here is one of the most prolific game developers of all time tellIng people to use the site.
Which game devs? Most of the takedown requests we've ever received, which we adhere to always, are from romhack developers.
We also have a substantial community which has existed for over 20 years?
