Just when we had a launch date. NASA now troubleshooting a helium issue and considering a roll back to the VAB. That would rule out any attempts in the March window.

Wishing the crewmember concerned the very best. It's good to see that they aren't using an emergency return scenario.

There is still plenty of time to join in - You can make your own with just a few bits you're very likely to have at home or in the classroom. It will be a blast!
We continue tomorrow, Monday 15th December, marking the very moment the Soyuz rocket lifted off with a massive rocket launch. Tune in online via www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/lesson at 10.20am, when I'll be hosting a live lesson with Tim, culminating in the rocket launch.
We've had a fabulous day at the @sciencemuseum.org.uk today, celebrating 10 years since Tim Peake launched at the start of his six month #Principia Misson on the International Space Station. It was so much fun I failed to take photos, so this will have to do for today.
Still waiting... hopefully it will start soon #CM25
The ministers responsible for space in ESA's Member States, Associate Members and Cooperating States at the Ministerial Council #CM25 in Bremen, Germany, November 2025.
There are a few events you can follow along over the next couple of days, the most interesting will be the press conference tomorrow when its all over and done with.

It's truly a meeting where things get decided. Unlike many international set pieces, it is not at all predetermined. Much preparation has been done, but it will come down to late night negotiations to decide which programmes go ahead.
Not only is today Budget day, but it's also the start of the two day ESA Council of Ministers. This event, which happens every 3 years, sees the 23 minsters from ESA Member States who are responsible for space meet, and armed with authorisations from their treasuries, decide on ESA's budgets.

Stephanie Shirley is perhaps one of the lesser known tech pioneers, but she shouldn't be. Back in the 60s she saw the potential for women in tech, setting up a company for them to code from home, going by the name Steve because it was a man's world. RIP Dame Shirley

Every time journalists write up a Colossus press release, They are making people stupider. Client journalism by a ridiculous company.
