I have a sore throat but that's how I often feel anyway, so not sure if it's the same sore throat. (Hope you feel better soon!)
Also the Milk Bar, which was so simple and calm compared to so much of modern Sohoβs branded, crowded Instagram fest.
Because the railways will be well funded and efficient, right?
That was the best.
βWe know changes like this can raise questions, and we want to be clear about what this means for customers.β
But not actually answer any of the questions most likely to be raised?
Yeah nice. But the data misses out the smaller, usually cheaper, two between us and Tesco (you know the ones Tom!)
Yeah, thatβs a good βun!
Iβm Richard Bucket and the Verger from Dadβs Army, which Iβm not too happy about brokentv.uk/2023/01/01/t...
I always liked the Simon Munnery line:
βMany are willing to suffer for their art. Few are willing to learn to draw.β
Now you could replace the last three words with βdo anything but instruct an AIβ.
No, not as catchy but still.

On the one hand this is a silly Godwinβs Law bit of satire. On the other, I think about the truth of it daily.
I did not expect my find myself on the Royalist side in the second English Civil War and yet
Listening to it now. Merry Christmas Ted!

I'm definitely not saying self-driving cars are the answer but he's right, that *is* how I feel every day (that I drive)! I'm amazed there aren't cars crashing constantly, speeding past each other, a few feet away, at 60mph each. π¬

@yoz.bsky.social I'm sorting through old photos and found this happy memory.
An old photo of a poster advertising "Friday's West End Final" edition of the Evening Standard newspaper. The headline is "FIRST MOBILE PHONE WITH TV".

A summary of Monday's weather showing an 80% chance of rain.
A graph of Monday's precipitation, showing only a 40% chance of rain at 1 am. Above it says there's an 80% chance for the whole day. Below it says "The daily chance of precipitation tends to be higher than the chance for each hour."

And, I think, managing to use "blogsβ to mean both "blogsβ and "blog postsβ, as well as using "blog postsβ, so who knows what any of it means. Sterling work.
Out to whoever was in charge of moving the British Library blogs to a new platform, breaking all existing URLs to posts, and not including an RSS feed in the specs for the new system.

It's tempting to rejoin the Labour Party just so I can have the satisfaction of canceling my membership and burning my membership card.
Yeah, it's a bit π¬ round here. Hope all goes OK.
