Italy: MFRR to conduct follow-up media freedom mission to Rome
The MFRR will conduct an advocacy mission to Rome on 9β10 March to assess key developments affecting media freedom in the country.
βοΈ Today, ECPMF joins Media Freedom Rapid Response in Rome for a media freedom mission to Italy.
The mission comes amid serious concerns over RAI reform, spyware, legal pressures, and media pluralism. In 2025, we documented 118 press freedom violations in Italy.
