the crazy part is all i want is a decent apology. im tired of feeling all this angst when i hear your name.

while i still have emotional problems im working out in regards to my ex and i dont want to resume our friendship. i can atleast say he's grown and has honored his own apology.

i feared not being believed or if i was, retaliation to him. he hurt me worse than you, but i did forgive him.

genuinely ive never been treated like this by anyone ever. even at my most heated fights with past friends there has been some level of understanding. but in hindsight it just makes sense.

i didnt share why i distanced myself from my ex, because after all that i couldnt fathom howd you react.

and a "i feel like youre excluding me" when the whole 2025 you admitted to pushing me out if things i wanted to do with you.

or even a "oh are you too poor for early boarding?" when we incidentally have the same flight for mff.

i get a "im not a fan of this therapy speak", when i tried to say things in a non-accusatory fashion

or the "dont talk to my new friends, i dont want you to corrupt them", when i try to find out what was weird between us.

augh, my night gets soured by the mere name drop of some folks. and all i really want is a genuine apology from one of them. but i fear she never will.

i dont want a "im sorry for that's how you felt" but a "sorry for (x), i shouldve (y)"
