turns out this is the case for pretty much every single game I played as a kid
leaving the light on is actually ok because most of the energy is used filling the room up with bright and after that the bulb doesn't have to work as hard

okokok so: we’ve got cards. you can pick ‘em. and they do what’s on ‘em, but the best bit is: a little manicule! It picks up and drags those carriages around in an ultra computer-usage-in-a-kids-cartoon kinda way that has no business in an old-timey train game 🚂
