The fact that any animated show or videogame could be made is a small miracle in this day and age and should be treated as such. One should count ones blessings.

Reference is one of the artists greatest tools.
A very animation BG-centric tip.
But I use smart objects a lot in my work. Sometimes it's just easier to paint something flat and warp it into perspective. Also you can pass the materials to another layout artist who might be in that area too.
I'm right rn and I feel like I'm stuck in a triple A game filter atm.
Also there's a huge distortion where my monitor looks bowed in and that ain't supposed to be happening either.
Ahhh thank you ;w; ππ
My greatest legacy. I hope it continues to shadow all my other exploits.
Mostly done in Magma. Sometimes I remember I pay for Photoshop and draw in that too.

Np! When conceptart.org was around before it fell to ruin. There was a sketchbook forum and it was so cool flipping through peoples research, studies, unfinished thoughts but all the work they did you can see later in finished pieces. I showed me the importance of just drawing and finding out.
Thatβs why I have split galleries, one a portfolio and the other just a fuck around post anything account and allowing myself some freedom from every work needing to be a polished gem. Sketchbooks are great. Itβs just your art journal and itβs pretty cool you can share em w/ the world like this.
